AR Rifle Operation & Maintenance
This class is tailored for the new AR rifle owner, regardless of manufacturer or caliber. The AR type rifles are some of the finest firearms in the world, but to achieve the most from their rifles the owners must know how to properly operate and care for their weapon. This training does just that. Covered will be the basic operation of the piston and gas tube types of AR, disassembly, cleaning, re-assembly, clearing malfunctions, marksmanship, and proper sight adjustment.

AR Rifle Optimization
The AR rifle system is one of the most versatile rifle systems available to the American gun owner. It has become the premiere law enforcement long gun. Offered in over 10 calibers with more than 2 dozen American manufactures, this is the issued rifle to the US Military and dozens of other nations. The AR has become “The” 21st century American Patrol rifle due to its incredible versatility, ease of use and reliability. Also utilized by countless civilians for hunting, sporting and home defense, the AR rifle system can be easily customized buy the user with over thousands of parts and accessories readily available. Lights, lasers and optics area easy to install right out of the box, but which one is best for the specific purpose? There are literally hundreds of potential configurations and a user could spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars before finding the right combination for their agency or themselves. This course gives the user the opportunity to try before they, or their department buys. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own rifle. There will be a live fire range available however; shooters must provide their own ammunition.

M4/AR15/ M16 Carbine Armorer
Throughout this course, students will be thoroughly exposed to the AR Platform of rifles and carbines. All types of platforms will be discussed regardless of Manufacturer or caliber and, both Direct Gas Impingent as well as the new piston design will be covered. Each student will leave with a much enhanced knowledge of the weapon including history, operation, assembly, tear down, repair, diagnosis and maintenance and nomenclature of the weapon system. This course is structured for law enforcement ad government personnel who are responsible for the implementation, instruction, repair, and maintenance of their departments M4/ AR15, M16 weapon systems.

Advanced Patrol Rifle
This 8-hour course in the use of the AR-15/M4 patrol carbine is for law enforcement personnel who already have a basic knowledge of their rifle and want to learn how to get more out of this incredible weapon system. The course will consist primarily of law enforcement applied techniques, drills and courses of fire specific to the AR-15/M4. This advanced shooter’s course is designed to assist students in becoming more familiar with police carbines and rifles. This course will cover the reasons for implementing a patrol carbine/rifle as opposed to the traditional 12 gauge shotgun. Covered will be safety. Loading, unloading, zeroing, reloads, malfunctions, use of cover and concealment, threat assessment, multiple targets, movement shooting, and transitions to handgun. Successful student participation will assure shooting skills have exceeded any past abilities.
